  • Oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting Department, managing a team of 3 to 4 people.
  • Oversee the preparation of the monthly financial package and write up of findings and results.
  • Prepare weekly reports to present to the Board of Directors regarding cash position and forecasting, A/R and projects in progress. .
  • Ensure legal, regulatory compliance and best business practices for all financial functions.
  • Work closely and transparently with all external partners including audit firm, banking institutions, financial and other consultants, as well as vendors.
  • Direct and administer all financial plans and budgets; and monitor progress.
  • Monitor organizational performance with regard to plan.
  • Liaise with Tax accountants to ensure timely tax filings and payments are done.
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.


  • Issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
  • Maintain documentation and required meeting minutes for Shareholder meetings and Corporate minutes for formal Shareholder meetings.


  • Office Planning - negotiation of leases, ensuring adequate program and administrative space need, etc.
  • Oversee compliance function and ensure organization is meeting all necessary legal requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate insurance policies for the organization and its facilities.
  • Risk Management – work closely with the CEO to minimize exposure to risk.
  • Oversee regular audits and enforcement of Information Security Policies per FISMA specifications.

Bachelors in Accounting/Finance preferred. MBA strongly preferred.

  • At least 10 years' experience in a finance or accounting leadership role
  • Experience in a senior role, partnering with senior staff, resulting in the development and implementation of robust financial management system.
  • Deep understanding of cost accounting principles
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a flexible, team oriented, and high growth environment
  • Ability to travel 3 to 4 times per year
